The Scoop on Hiring Success 17

Interviewer: Christine Marino, Chief Revenue Officer at Click Boarding

Interviewee: Prachi Gore, Vice President of Demand Generation at SmartRecruiters

Q: What is Hiring Success 17?

A: It’s a conference where great minds come together to transform recruiting, with TA leaders speaking on a variety of recruiting topics. It is certainly going to be the Ultimate Recruiting Event of the Year.

Q: Who should attend?

A: Here’s the quick answer: if you have any hand in recruiting for your team and intend to find the best hires, this conference is for you. With what you’ll learn at Hiring Success 17, you’ll be able to come back to your company with actionable tactics to prove that hiring the best candidates is one of the most important things you can do.

Q: What should we expect to see at Hiring Success 17?

A: We’ll have over 30+ speakers, including Michael Ross, EVP of Human Resources at Visa; Jeff Diana, Former CPO of Atlassian and SuccessFactors; Matt Charney, Executive Editor of Recruiting Daily; and so many more! From speaking tracks, integration partners, consulting, an amazing party, and other great activities, it’ll be something you’ll want to come back to next year.

Q: How will this year differ from last year?

A: It will be 3 times bigger and better!! We have 3x the days, 30+ speakers, 300+ attendees, a bigger venue, more features, more content… in the end, it’s more that what last year was, and just as valuable.

Q: Which speaker/session are you most looking forward to?

A: We love all of our speakers and sessions, of course. But we’re most excited about:

  • Lou Adler, CEO of the Adler Group, who will be speaking on Hiring in the Scarcity of Talent Economy.
  • A panel on Diversity Sourcing and Hiring with Gina Rudan, Cultural Alchemist at X (formerly Google X).
  • Optimizing the end-to-end candidate journey with Stacy Zapar, Founder of Tenfold.
  • And of course, our keynote by Michael Ross, EVP of Human Resources at Visa, detailing what the future of recruiting will look like.

Q: Besides speaker sessions, what else will attendees get to do?

A: We’ll have our Smart Lab where you can get expert consulting on hiring best practices. We’ll have networking opportunities at every corner. There’s our integration marketplace where you can learn how to extend your hiring platform, and of course, the Smarty Party, at SPiN, the world famous table tennis bar!

Q: What should attendees be most excited about?

A: It’s a great chance to rub elbows with leaders from Autodesk, Intel, Visa, Square, and so many more. You’ll change your outlook on how to recruit in the future, and how to raise your TA function as a whole. You are who you hire, so hire the best!
