The long-awaited HR Tech Conference & Exhibition is officially over, but the show jitters continue to linger. Somehow, in a fully virtual setting amidst a global pandemic, HR Tech created the show buzz we’ve been craving. And we’re sure this energy will carry us forward into 2021!
So what made this digital gathering so engaging? Between the unique video sessions, the diverse product and video galleries and all the SWAG, there was never a dull moment. In fact, much like the in-person events of years past, the show never truly stopped, as networking continued into the evenings. Traditional happy hours were replaced with BYOB video chats, and we rallied on together!
After an exciting week, we can’t help but focus on a few key takeaways. Whether addressed during keynote sessions, live product demonstrations or 1-1 connections, a few themes continued to surface:
- We’ve moved from the digital transformation to the age of digital disruption.
- Your people are your greatest asset.
- Agility, adaptability and resilience are critical today.
- Information is everything, and your team expects it early and often, with a sense of openness.
During our conversations, it was clear that HR Tech’s attendees agreed on each of these new realities. We’ve seen the trajectory of HR technology shift in front of our eyes, and we’re up for the challenge to deliver a new level of employee experiences. So what’s next?
